MALLORCAN GASTRONOMIE in EASTER



These pies are typical of the Easter holidays and the Christmas holidays. Our grandmothers did before the holidays so they had made for dinner a few nights. If they become smaller in size are also used to serve on a buffet.

Instead of beef and pea filling, these pies can also fish or vegetables only, and as a curiosity, at least in Palma de Mallorca elsewhere, some people make these pies dough sweet, adding a little sugar to the dough.
